Will Folks: What Goes Around Comes Around

It hard to have sympathy for Will Folks of South Carolina.

Here is a guy that helped to violate the most basic civil rights of the men and fathers of his state by working with the Governer of South Carolina to "toughen" DV laws. And, now, he has learned something about being guilty until proven innocent.

Send Folks an e-mail and let him know that it serves him right.

I'm looking forward to seeing more male politicians be swallowed by the beast they helped to create.

Here is the message I sent this poor beastard.
**********
Looks to me that you got eaten up by the misandrist laws and rad-fem industry that you helped create and strengthen. How does it feel to be guilty until proven innocent, and to be criminalized by participating in undistinguished, garden variety domestic discord?

A guilty plea will do nothing but feed the pockets of the gender feminists that you were in bed with, so that they can criminalize other gentle, non-violent men, that I believe you are.

And glad to hear you aren't marrying the woman who would call the cops, about an incident that you know and admit was her own doing.

Best of luck, you will need it.

If you do want to redeem yourself, you can join us who singing the unconstitutionality of these egregious laws.

I doubt he will read any of these, but he is exhibit A, now, isn't he, about responsible, non-violent men, who are baited by their partner, until that partner finds something to call the cops about.

The good news is that at least, unlike the guy marrying the "runaway bride" has the smarts to get the hell away from this woman.

I sent this little banter:

Mr. Folks,

I recall a time when I was in a similar DV situation as you. I chose however to drive away, that no being acceptable to my ex-wife, she decided to grab the car door to prevent me from leaving. Naturally, she wasn't going to be able to keep up with car as I drove away, and she had to let go at some point. Of course, she called the police and claimed how I assaulted her with the car while trying to leave. I was arrested for fourth degree assault, never charged, and released immediately. This incident ended any possibility of me becoming a police officer or running for public office, which was my plan at the time.

I wont bore you with all the other abuses I suffered from her. Like the time she was throwing knives at me, and when the police came and saw them sticking out of the walls, they say to me, "Do you have a place to stay tonight?" They never did anything her, and they never will. . .

Maybe you will reflect on this for a period of time, and realize the damage you have done endorsing the feminist victim mentality. Your cohorts at the governor's office have certainty hung you out to dry. Perhaps you will think about using this experience and your expertise to help our cause instead of incarcerating us.

Thank you Geezer!

Here is the text of the boyz reply.

Note he says that "we need strong laws down here", even after those strong laws took a gentle man, smacked his arse, and his face, and dumped him on the human trash heap.

Someone take this boy to a meeting, as he is totally PC addicted.

Mark-

Appreciate your thoughts and taking the time to write. As a libertarian, you
have a receptive audience in me. Having said that, SC is so far behind the
rest of the curve on this front that we probably need tougher laws than most
states. I would agree w/ you though: any law that removes flexibility is a
bad one.

I'm not a politician, and Mark Sanford is the first and last political
figure I'll ever work for, but the politics of all this are really secondary
to me. I'm trying to do what's right by my family and her family, and I hate
it that I've become the poster boy on this issue.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to get in touch and let me know where
you're coming from.

Peace, W

... "what's right my family and her family."

That's pathetic. She just ruined his ability to do anything in politics again in the future; he's being disingenuous if he thinks that he will not one day want to get back into it. So, why the hell is he worried about "her family."

As far as his own family goes, the best thing he can do is clear his own name and that of his family from this stigma.

Looks like he is stuck in a world of PC and is a "true believer" even though the system he helped to create has just bit him in the ars.
